They give their best results when the ring surfaces are plated with silver, gold or rhodium and used in conjunction with silver-graphite brushes, thus giving low contact resistance and low noise conditions. This combination of plated rings and silver graphite brushes has time after time proven its self to be a very reliable combination.

The maximum number of ways available for this modular unit is dependent upon the mix of power circuits and signals required. Diameters range from 35mm (1.37″) to 200mm (7.87″).
