The BGB Optilinc system has been produced to revolutionize the slip ring market. Optilinc is the first of the new generation of contactless slip rings to be produced by BGB Engineering Ltd.

These fiber optic rotary joint (FORJ) are ideal for high speed data-transfer on many applications.

Constructed in stainless steel, Optilinc has exceptional durability protecting the unit from dust and water ingress to IP68 and is not influenced by vibration, humidity, heat, magnetism or other typical disturbances. Optilinc is now available with either ST or Deutsch RSC TM connectors.

Our Optilinc Fiber Optic Rotary Joints (FORJ) have been thoroughly developed in BGB’s R&D Lab and now being implemented in the design stage of leading wind turbine manufacturers and other high speed data transfer applications.

The Axial Multimode and Singlemode Fibre Optic Rotary Joints have been rigorously tested by Deutsch UK Ltd to EN2591-601, (Aerospace series – Elements of electrical and optical connection Part 601: Optical elements – Insertion loss) and to EIA standards.
